About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in the verification and entry of vendor invoices in the accounting system.
2. Ensure invoices are supported with Purchase Orders, GRN, and approvals.
3. Learn and maintain vendor ledger records and assist in the reconciliation of vendor statements.
4. Support preparation of vendor payment schedules.
5. Verify invoices for GST compliance and accuracy.
6. Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and payment records.
7. Coordinate with purchase and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
8. Assist in month-end closing and accounts payable activities.
9. Assist in new ERP implementation.
