About the internship
Suvitt is a virtual CFO, governance, and compliance advisory firm working with growing companies and family businesses. We function like a fractional CFO office, covering MIS and dashboards, payroll, statutory compliance, transaction structuring, and founder-office support. We are building internal systems (Freshdesk-based operations, structured reporting, knowledge capture) that let our team run reliably without one person having to remember and chase everything.
The Role:
We are hiring an intern to own the plumbing between our operational tools Freshdesk, Outlook/Microsoft 365, and our knowledge-capture systems (Notion/OneNote) and to bring disciplined AI usage into our daily reporting and workflows. This is not a "build me an AI chatbot" role. It is a systems and process role in which AI is one tool among several, used carefully and only where it adds real value.
You will start with real, contained problems (cleaning up Freshdesk reporting, designing an email-to-notes capture pipeline) and grow into owning the automation layer across our practice.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Migrate our daily and weekly Freshdesk reports (SLA breach dashboards, statutory deadline tracking, exception alerts) from ad-hoc AI-run tasks to reliable, scheduled, auditable pipelines.
2. Design and build an email-to-notes capture system so that important team emails flow into a shared knowledge base (Notion or OneNote) without duplicating what Freshdesk already tracks.
3. Work with APIs, webhooks, and no-code/low-code tools (Power Automate, Make, n8n, or Zapier) to connect our systems.
4. Write documentation and runbooks that a non-technical team lead can follow.
5. Use AI (Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Copilot) thoughtfully for summarisation and classification, never for numbers, dates, or decisions that carry client risk.
6. Track and reduce the cost and credit footprint of our AI-assisted workflows.

What We’re Looking For:
1. Recent graduate or final-year student comfortable with logic, data, and systems thinking. You do not need a computer science degree, but you do need to think in flows, not just tools.
2. Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, and how rate limits and pagination work.
3. Comfort with at least one automation platform (Power Automate, Make, n8n, Zapier), or the willingness to learn one quickly.
4. Basic scripting ability in Python or JavaScript is a strong plus, though not mandatory.
5. A careful, security-conscious mindset—you will be handling client financial and statutory data.
6. Clear written communication—you will be documenting for non-technical colleagues.
7. Curiosity about business operations, not just about tools.
