Backend Engineering Internship in Delhi at Zoop Live

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Months 1-2: Onboarding & Foundation:
1. Get familiar with our microservice's architecture (Node.js, Python)
2. Understand our database design patterns and data flows
3. Start contributing to smaller features and bug fixes
4. Participate in code reviews and learn our development practices
5. Work closely with senior engineers on foundational technical concepts

Months 3-4: Ownership & Impact
1. Take ownership of complete features across one or more microservices
2. Design and implement database schemas for new features
3. Optimize existing APIs for performance and scalability
4. Collaborate with frontend and product teams on feature delivery
5. Begin exploring Gen AI integrations and AI-powered features

Months 5-6: Advanced Contributions
1. Lead technical implementation of medium-to-large features
2. Contribute to architectural decisions and system design discussions
3. Build and integrate Gen AI capabilities into our platform
4. Mentor newer team members or interns
5. Evaluate PPO based on performance and mutual fit

Nice-to-Have

1. Experience with microservices architecture
2. Familiarity with RESTful API design
3. Understanding of system design principles
4. Exposure to AI/ML or Gen AI technologies
5. Strong inclination to work on Gen AI applications
6. Previous internship or project experience in backend development
7. Contributions to open-source projects
