About the internship
A 'Business Development Intern' supports the business development team by assisting with various tasks that help grow the company's client base and increase revenue. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of business development, including sales, market research, partnerships, and strategy.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Market Research: Collecting data on competitors, market trends, and potential customers. Analyzing and presenting insights to help shape business strategies.
2. Lead Generation: Identifying and reaching out to potential clients through various channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.).
3. Sales Support: Assisting with creating sales materials, preparing presentations, and drafting proposals.
4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Updating and maintaining CRM systems with client interactions, leads, and sales data.
5. Partnerships: Assisting in identifying partnership opportunities and maintaining relationships with external partners.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Compiling data and creating reports that evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts.
7. Administrative Support: Helping with scheduling meetings, tracking performance metrics, and managing communication between teams.

Other requirements
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Analytical mindset with a good grasp of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
3. Basic understanding of business development processes.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
6. Interest in growing and learning about business strategy and operations.
7. Collaborating with the Business Development team.
8. Assisting the team in prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling.
9. Maintaining data, sheets, and drive documents.
10. Creating presentations.
11. Graduate or currently enrolled in a business degree (BBA, B.Com, Economics).
12. Specialization in business administration is preferred.
13. Candidate must have a laptop for this internship.
Perks
1. Working days: Monday to Friday.
2. Office timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
3. Work mode: Hybrid (3 days work from office).
4. Location: Times Internet, Gurgaon office.
5. Duration: 6 months
6. Stipend: Up to ₹15,000 per month.
