About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Lead Sourcing & Business Development:
1. Identify, research, and connect with potential borrowers including HNIs, NRIs, SMEs, Corporates, and Builders.
2. Develop a strong pipeline for home loans, LAP, business loans, project funding, and working capital.
3. Conduct meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospects to understand their financing requirements.
4. Assist in building partnerships with builders, property developers, real estate agents, and corporate networks.
B. Loan Advisory & Client Requirement :
1. Analysis, Understand client needs such as loan amount, tenure, repayment ability, income profile, property valuation, etc.
2. Assist in preparing loan proposals, financial summaries, and borrower profiles for lenders. Help clients understand different lending options, interest rates, eligibility norms, processing fees, and documentation.
C. Coordination With Banks & Conduct:
1. Liaise with multiple banks and NBFC partners to understand their policies, interest rates, and product offerings.
2. Coordinate with relationship managers for loan approvals, processing updates, and documentation requests.
3. Track applications and assist in closing deals with accuracy and speed.
D. Documentation & Compliance Support:
1. Collect KYC, income documents, property papers, bank statements, GST returns, and other required paperwork.
2. Prepare files for underwriting and ensure compliance with lender guidelines. Support in valuation, legal, and verification processes.
E. Market Research & Product Knowledge:
1. Track the latest interest rate changes, eligibility norms, and new lending products. Research competitive loan offerings across banks, NBFCs, and fintechs.
2. Prepare reports on market trends, borrower behavior, and funding opportunities.
F. Reporting, CRM & Internal Coordination:
1. Maintain accurate data in CRM, follow-up trackers, and weekly reports.
2. Prepare productivity reports, deal status updates, and performance summaries.
3. Assist senior managers with strategic business development activities.
