About the internship
At Gharpayy, we're simplifying how people find and book accommodations across Bangalore. As a Business Development Intern, you'll be at the front line speaking to customers, driving leads, and contributing directly to real growth.
This isn't a desk internship. It's a launchpad for future sales leaders who want to learn how to close deals, build networks, and scale fast.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Engage with potential customers via calls, WhatsApp, and online platforms to understand their housing needs.
2. Pitch suitable accommodation options from Gharpayy's property network and convert inquiries into bookings.
3. Coordinate property visits between customers and managers.
4. Follow up consistently with leads to maximize conversions.
5. Maintain and update lead data in CRM with accuracy and ownership.
6. Support the business team with market research and outreach campaigns.
7. Collaborate with the growth team to improve customer experience and lead quality.
Requirements
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong willingness to learn sales, negotiation, and customer management.
3. High energy, self-discipline, and ownership mindset.
4. Comfortable with targets, calling, and fast-paced execution.
5. Available to work full-time from Bangalore (preferred).
