About the internship
Securiky is hiring business development intern to support our sales growth by handling inside sales, cold calling, and lead generation for IoT-based Smart Security and Automation solutions. This is an office-based internship ideal for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on exposure to real-world sales, B2B prospecting, and startup growth. As a 'Business Development Intern,' you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to generate qualified leads and convert prospects through structured calling and follow-ups.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Make outbound cold calls to potential customers (shops, offices, commercial establishments)
2. Generate and qualify leads for smart security & automation solutions
3. Explain product offerings such as CCTV, alarm systems, and IoT-based security solutions
4. Schedule demos and site visits for the field sales team
5. Follow up with interested prospects and nurture leads
6. Maintain accurate lead data, call logs, and follow-up status in CRM or tracking sheets
7. Assist in inside sales conversions wherever applicable
8. Support marketing campaigns, lead lists, and outreach activities
9. Gather customer feedback and share insights with the sales team
