DESCRIPTION
About the internship
1. Design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies across individual donors, CSR, institutional funding, and campaigns
2. Identify and build relationships with donors, partners, and sponsors
3. Drive digital and on-ground fundraising campaigns to achieve organisational goals
4. Lead and manage fundraising interns across PAN India
5. Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure goal-oriented execution
6. Conduct training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members
7. Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors and stakeholders
8. Ensure effective donor engagement, reporting, and retention strategies
9. Represent the organisation in meetings, events, and presentations
10. Collaborate with internal teams to develop campaign storytelling and impact communication
11. Track fundraising performance and maintain accurate reports
12. Ensure transparency and compliance with ethical fundraising practices

Other requirements
1. Female candidates are preferred
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sociology as a mandatory qualification
3. Candidates based in Kolkata preferred
4. Have 0–2 years of experience in fundraising, NGO, CSR, or social sector roles with leadership exposure
5. Proficiency in Bengali, Hindi, and English languages
6. Strong leadership and team management abilities
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Strategic thinking with the ability to execute plans effectively
9. Ability to manage and coordinate remote teams across India
10. Interest in social impact and the education sector
11. Strong networking and stakeholder management skills
12. Purpose-driven mindset with belief in education accessibility
13. Ability to build systems and processes beyond task execution
14. Capability to inspire and influence teams as well as donors
