Climate Strategy Internship in Chennai at Energy Alternatives India

'The Climate Strategy Intern' will support research and engagement initiatives focused on how Indian and global industries are shaping climate action within corporate strategy. The role includes interacting with corporate leadership and designing platforms for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:

1. Study and analyze high-impact climate action programs, sustainability initiatives, and decarbonization pathways undertaken by large corporates and industrial sectors in India and worldwide.
2. Interact with corporate sustainability and innovation teams to understand current strategies, priorities, challenges, and roadmap development.
3. Help organize focused forums for CEOs and corporate leaders to discuss climate strategy themes, sector-level opportunities, and climate action initiatives.
4. Benchmark corporate climate initiatives and evaluate strategic tools such as net-zero plans, carbon management, circularity programs, and green investment models.
5. Prepare structured reports, briefs, and presentations capturing emerging strategy patterns, best practices, and corporate case studies.
6. Work with the consulting and strategy teams to synthesize insights and support strategic recommendations for clients.
