About the internship
Job Profile:
1. Corporate Governance & Compliance
-Assist in ensuring compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws.
-Help prepare, file, and maintain statutory registers, forms, and returns (e.g., MGT-7, AOC-4).
- Support in conducting Board Meetings, General Meetings (GMs), and drafting resolutions, agendas, and minutes.
2. Legal and Regulatory Filings
-Assist in drafting and filing legal documents such as MOA, AOA, and agreements.
-Work on compliance audits and verify reports for ROC filings.
3. Documentation and Record-Keeping
-Maintain and update statutory registers (e.g., Register of Members, Directors, etc.).
-Draft and review compliance checklists and other internal governance documentation.
4. Legal Research
-Conduct research on corporate laws, amendments, and case laws relevant to the organization.
-Provide updates on changes in legal and regulatory frameworks.
5. Training & Reporting
-Participate in internal training programs to improve technical skills.
-Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports summarizing tasks completed.
6. Advisory Role (Under Supervision)
-Provide inputs on corporate governance best practices under the guidance of the mentor.
-Help identify potential risks and suggest remedial actions.
