About the internship
1. Researching and creating engaging content on startups, funding, founder stories, investor activity, and business trends
2. Simplifying complex business and investment topics into LinkedIn posts, Instagram carousels, reels, video scripts, and newsletters
3. Identifying timely industry conversations and developing relevant, audience-focused content
4. Developing and executing content marketing plans for startup and investor events
5. Creating pre-event promotional campaigns, speaker announcements, and registration campaigns
6. Capturing real-time event content and creating post-event recaps, highlight reels, and key takeaways
7. Coordinating with speakers, founders, investors, and partners to collect promotional content and assets
8. Managing content calendars and maintaining a consistent brand voice across social media platforms
9. Collaborating with designers and videographers to execute creative concepts
10. Monitoring social media trends and analysing content performance to optimise future campaigns
11. Executing campaigns to drive engagement, event registrations, and community growth
12. Managing community channels such as WhatsApp and LinkedIn and supporting ecosystem partnerships
13. Monitoring trends across venture capital, technology, investment banking, and entrepreneurship
14. Researching competitors, ecosystem media, and content creators to identify emerging trends and content opportunities
15. Analysing campaign performance data and providing actionable recommendations for growth

What We're Looking For:
The most important requirement for this role is a genuine understanding of and interest in the startup ecosystem. We are looking for someone who:
1. Actively follows startups, founders, funding, investors, and business news
2. Understands basic concepts related to VC, PE, investment banking, fundraising, accelerators, and startup growth
3. Can discuss the startup ecosystem beyond surface-level trends
4. Has strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
5. Can identify what makes a story, founder, or business interesting
6. Is comfortable researching and creating content independently
7. Has a strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, and short-form content
8. Is creative while also understanding the importance of strategy and consistency
9. Is proactive, curious, and willing to take ownership
10. Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment
