The CSR Research Intern supports the organization's corporate social responsibility team by conducting research, analyzing data, and assisting in preparing reports and presentations. The role focuses on identifying CSR trends, evaluating existing programs, and providing insights to improve project design, compliance, and impact measurement.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct desk research on CSR laws, ESG trends, and sustainability practices.
2. Track industry CSR initiatives and compile benchmarking reports.
3. Research potential NGO partners, social enterprises, and community programs.
4. Compile and analyze CSR project data for internal review.
5. Assist in preparing impact assessment reports and case studies and summarize key insights from policy documents, research papers, and news articles.
6. Maintain an updated database of CSR activities and spending, assist in preparing compliance-related documents for statutory reporting and help in tracking alignment of CSR projects with UN SDGs or ESG frameworks.
7. Update project trackers and schedules, organize files, research archives, and reference materials and support event or campaign preparations.

1. Courses or certifications in CSR, ESG, or sustainability will be an added advantage.
2. Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s/master’s in social work/development studies, public policy/political science, environmental studies/sustainability, business administration/management, economics or related social sciences, etc.
3. Strong interest in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and social impact.
4. Basic awareness of CSR regulations and sustainability frameworks.
5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
6. Ability to conduct independent desk research and summarize findings.
7. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
8. Ability to work in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
