Cyber Security Internship in Ahmedabad at OMNIDYA TECH

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications, REST APIs, and microservices deployed on AWS infrastructure.
Assist in securing device-to-cloud communication channels including MQTT, WebSocket, and HTTPS data pipelines from edge IoT devices.
Review and harden authentication and authorization mechanisms, including RBAC policies across multiple user roles.
Perform security code reviews on TypeScript/Node.js backend services and React/Next.js frontend applications.
Evaluate and improve secrets management, API key rotation, and environment variable handling across CI/CD pipelines.
Assist in setting up and monitoring intrusion detection systems, WAF rules, and security event logging (CloudWatch, GuardDuty).
Participate in security incident response simulations and help document response playbooks.
Research and recommend best practices for securing mobile applications (React Native) including certificate pinning and data-at-rest encryption.
Support compliance efforts related to data privacy and protection standards applicable to vehicle telematics and insurance data.
Document findings, produce security assessment reports, and present recommendations to the engineering team.
