Data Research Internship in Pune at Prop Pie - Fractional Ownership For Real Estate

At Prop Pie, high-quality data is the backbone of our fractional ownership platform, valuation models, and AI chat assistants. We are looking for a tech-savvy data research & product QA intern who operates at the intersection of data engineering, AI evaluation, and product strategy. In this role, you won't just compile data- you will stress-test our data and AI pipelines, discover untapped data sources, conduct deep product research, and ensure our platform analytics remain accurate and reliable.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Pipeline QA & data validation: Audit raw and ingestion pipeline outputs. Perform rigorous QA checks to catch data drift, missing attributes, duplicates, and schema inconsistencies before data hits production analytics.
2. AI & prompt pipeline testing: Evaluate agentic AI chat responses, prompt outputs, and LLM extraction accuracy. Identify hallucination patterns, edge-case failures, and workflow bottlenecks.
3. Data sourcing & avenue research: Identify and evaluate new external data sources (public property registries, municipal filings, API feeds, infrastructure data, web sources) to expand platform intelligence.
4. Product analysis & research: Benchmark competitor products, feature sets, and UI/UX flows. Conduct research to identify feature gaps and help shape Prop Pie's internal tools and user-facing dashboards.
5. Market sourcing & outreach: Connect with local real estate developers, property managers, and market agents to acquire unstructured property, yield, and transactional data.
6. Workflow SOPs & engineering handoff: Document QA test cases, draft standard operating procedures (SOPs), and write clear functional feedback/specs for developers to improve data workflows.
