Role Brief
The Intern plays a key support role in delivering high-quality virtual and on-ground volunteering experiences for clients. The role focuses on coordinating event logistics, managing stakeholder communication, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring smooth execution before, during, and after events.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the client engagement team to plan, coordinate, and implement virtual and in-person volunteering events.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation to support events executed, including plans, approvals, and reports.
Assist in planning and coordinating meetings; accurately record minutes and track decisions and action items.
Provide day-to-day administrative support, including answering calls, managing emails, and maintaining records.
Liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and community partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Travel on-site, as required, to inspect arrangements, oversee preparations, and manage changes to meet client needs.
Support post-event (after-action) reviews to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in event management.

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
0-1 years of experience in event coordination, client engagement, operations, or administrative support (internship experience may be considered).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.
Proficiency in MS Excel familiarity with event management tools is a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel on-site as required.
