Job Brief - School Marketing & Event Management Intern
Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic intern to support the school's marketing and outreach efforts. The intern will be responsible for planning and executing on-ground marketing events in residential societies, engaging parents in fun and meaningful activities, and assisting with social media content creation and posting. This role offers hands-on exposure to event management, community engagement, and digital marketing in an education environment.
Key Responsibilities
Event Marketing & Community Engagement
Plan and coordinate school marketing events in residential societies and local communities.
Set up stalls, design engaging activities, and interact with parents to build awareness about the school.
Organize interactive games, workshops, or parent-child engagement sessions to create strong recall value.
Collect leads, feedback, and insights from events for admissions follow-up.
Parent Engagement
Create opportunities for parents to participate in activities and experience the school's unique value.
Support parent orientation programs, workshops, and open houses.
Ensure smooth event execution and maintain positive parent-school interactions.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
Assist in content creation: photos, videos, reels, captions, and stories from events and school activities.
Post and manage content on school social media channels as per calendar.
Track engagement and suggest creative ideas to boost reach.
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with the marketing team and school staff for event logistics.
Prepare post-event reports with photos, videos, and lead data.
Support in day-to-day marketing tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate/Undergraduate student in Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, or related fields.
Strong communication and people skills; confident in approaching and engaging parents.
Creative mindset with interest in social media trends (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Energetic, adaptable, and hands-on with event coordination.
Basic knowledge of Canva/graphic design tools (preferred but not mandatory).
