About the internship

Are you passionate about events and looking to gain hands-on experience in event management? We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Management intern to join our team at Kalantar Art Foundation.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in planning and coordinating various events, including the Annual Art Festival, Art exhibitions, workshops, and fundraisers.
2. Communicate effectively with vendors, sponsors, and attendees to ensure smooth execution of events.
3. Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to meet project goals.
4. Assist in marketing and promoting events through social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
5. Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
6. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
7. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative ideas and themes for future events.
8. Use AI tools to automate the event promotion process, event management process, and live events.

Other requirements

1. Candidate must have effective communications in English and Hindi.

2. Must have a strong acumen to gain and retain sponsors from various industry sectors.

3. The candidate should preferably have hand-on experience in using generic and agentic AI tools for automating and simplifying the event management processes.

4. Must be a multitasker. Should be able to handle multiple tasks at a given time, so as to handle event pressures.

The organization runs an art education institute where underprivileged children, women, and youth are trained free of cost to provide them with a long-term career goal in life.
