About the internship
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Fashion Designing Intern to support our design and production team in day-to-day activities. This role offers hands-on experience in the fashion industry, working closely with designers, masters, and production staff to bring creative concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in creating and maintaining tech packs for designers.
2. Coordinate and provide handover to masters for garment production.
3. Maintain and update inventory records of fabrics, trims, and finished outfits.
4. Conduct quality checks on stitched garments to ensure premium finishing.
5. Support the team in measurements, fittings, and client requirements.
6. Assist in documenting production details and keeping track of order timelines.
7. Collaborate with the designer team for sketches, mood boards, and style references.
Requirements
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Designing (NIFT/NID/peers preferred).
2. Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
3. Good communication and coordination skills.
4. Detail-oriented with an eye for quality and finishing.
5. Basic knowledge of fashion tools/software (Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW) is a plus.
