DESCRIPTION
About the internship
1. Couture design & execution: Assisting in the creation of Luxury Indian Couture and fusion wear; developing concepts and silhouettes that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
2. Production supervision: Managing the production floor daily; supervising karigars, tailors, and embroiderers to ensure timely execution and high-quality finishing.
3. Sourcing & procurement: Visiting markets to procure fabrics, trims, and raw materials; managing vendor relationships and sourcing unique inputs for bespoke orders.
4. Studio operations & admin: Handling essential administrative tasks including billing/invoicing, updating stock registers (inventory management), and coordinating client deliveries and logistics.
5. Digital work: Using Canva to create mood boards, design layouts, and basic social media assets for the brand.
6. Quality control: Performing strict quality checks on finished garments and ensuring all details are perfect before client handover.

Other requirements
1. Qualifications: Must be pursuing or have completed a degree/diploma in fashion design/technology from a reputed institute.
2. Attention to detail: Must understand the intricacies of Haute Couture finishing and high-end construction.
3. Work ethic: We are a small setup with a select clientele; we require candidates who are diligent, hardworking, and take ownership of tasks beyond just sketching.
4. Experience: Previous internship experience or a strong academic portfolio demonstrating Indian and Western garment construction is mandatory.
