Finance & Accounting Internship in Mumbai at Apport Software Solutions

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Accounting Support
1. Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping and maintaining financial records.
2. Support accounts payable/receivable processes including invoice verification and vendor reconciliation.
3. Help with bank reconciliations and tracking of cash flow.

B. Financial Reporting
1. Prepare and update MIS reports, expense statements, and other financial summaries.
2. Assist in monthly/quarterly closing activities under the guidance of the finance team.

C. Audit & Compliance
1. Support preparation of documents for statutory audits and internal reviews.
2. Help ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

D. Analysis & Research
1. Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost tracking.
2. Research on financial best practices, taxation updates, and industry benchmarks.

E. General Support
1. Work with cross-functional teams to gather financial data.
2. Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the finance & accounts team.
