About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop formulations to the client's brief: active doses, excipients, flavour, colour and cost targets.
2. Make pilot batches of up to 5 kg and support scale-up to commercial batches.
3. Run trials for taste, texture, stability, flow, hardness, and disintegration as relevant.
4. Prepare formulation sheets, BOMs, MFRs and BMRs (master formula and batch manufacturing records) and costing.
5. Check ingredients and claims against FSSAI Nutraceutical Regulations 2022 (permitted ingredients, limits, labelling).
6. Coordinate with QC and outside labs for testing and shelf-life studies.
7. Shortlist raw materials and get vendor samples.
8. Present samples and updates to clients, and keep project trackers current.
9. Maintain lab records, retained samples and trial data.

Other requirements
1. Hands-on formulation experience in at least two formats; gummies or confectionery is a strong plus.
2. Working knowledge of FSSAI nutraceutical regulations.
3. Ability to handle several client projects at once and meet timelines.
4. Good documentation and communication in English.
5. Experience with stability studies and scale-up.
6. Experience in a contract-manufacturing or brand-development setup.
7. Knowledge of flavour masking and sugar-free systems.
