DESCRIPTION
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Fund accounting & financial reporting:
1. Maintain accurate financial records and prepare periodic financial statements.
2. Perform month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit support.
3. Calculate capital gains, accruals, and dividend notices.
B. Investor services:
1. Handle investor inquiries and maintain shareholder records.
2. Process share transactions and generate client communications.
C. Compliance & regulatory reporting:
1. Ensure adherence to applicable laws (e.g., Investment Company Act, AML/KYC).
2. Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for regulatory filings.
D. Transaction & portfolio management:
1. Record and reconcile fund transactions.
2. Conduct portfolio valuations and manage fund liquidity.
E. Operational Support:
1. Assist in fund launches and budget reviews.
2. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and loaning/returning programs.
F. Process Improvement:
1. Review and enhance workflows to improve operational efficiency.
2. Stay updated on legislative changes affecting fund operations.

1. Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
2. MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and financial software.
5. Knowledge of GAAP, fund waterfalls, and compliance testing.
6. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
