About the internship
We are building children's storybooks inspired by Indian stories and values, using a mix of creative design and AI tools. We are looking for a creative graphic designer who is comfortable using AI tools for illustration and layout, and can turn simple story scripts into visually engaging children's books. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys experimenting, iterating quickly, and creating child-friendly visuals.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Create illustrations and page designs for children's books using AI tools + design software
2. Design cover pages, inner pages, and full book layouts
3. Maintain consistent characters, colors, and visual style across pages
4. Work closely with the content/story team to translate text into visuals
5. Prepare files for ebook and print formats (basic understanding required)
6. Make quick edits and iterations based on feedback
