About the internship
You will be working with the culinary teams of:
1. Budget Room by Unicorn House
2. Plink - Cocktails, Cuisines & Cabaret
Your Responsibilities:
1. Kitchen & Culinary Operations
- Assist chefs in food preparation, plating, and kitchen organization
- Learn and support daily kitchen operations for lunch, dinner, and events
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
2. Menu Development & Presentation
- Contribute ideas for new dishes, food presentation, and seasonal menus
- Learn modern techniques used in continental, Indian, and fusion cuisines
- Assist in cost estimation, portion control, and inventory planning
3. Inventory & Procurement
- Help maintain stock of raw materials, vegetables, meats, and supplies
- Assist in vendor coordination and purchase tracking
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients (FIFO method)
4. Event & Party Assistance
- Assist in food preparation for parties, catering and special events
- Coordinate with event teams for timely food service during high volume days
5. Training & Exposure
- Learn from experienced chefs and F&B professionals
- Get hands-on exposure in a real commercial kitchen environment
- Opportunity to learn bar snacks, cocktails garnishing & modern plating styles
