About the internship
Are you a fresh engineering graduate with a sharp eye for efficiency and a passion for operational strategy? We are looking for an industrial engineering trainee to join our process excellence team. In this role, you won't just observe; you will actively help us optimize productivity, reduce waste, and refine the workflows that drive our success. Reporting directly to the process excellence manager, you will be at the heart of our continuous improvement initiatives.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Analyze & Optimize: Conduct time and motion studies to pinpoint and eliminate work inefficiencies.
2. Visualize Workflows: Support process mapping and identify critical bottlenecks in our production cycle.
3. Data-Driven Impact: Collect and transform operational data into actionable reports and executive presentations.
4. Standardization: Help draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) that define our "best-in-class" practices.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to execute cost-reduction projects.

Other requirements
A. Who you are:
1. Academic Background: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in industrial, mechanical, or production engineering.
2. Experience Level: You are a fresh graduate or have up to 1 year of relevant experience.
3. Technical Foundation: You have a solid grasp of lean manufacturing principles and industrial engineering concepts.
4. Analytical Mindset: You are proficient in MS Excel and enjoy solving complex problems through data.
5. Communication: You possess the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within dynamic, fast-paced teams.
B. Preferred Credentials (Optional)
1. Familiarity with Six Sigma tools.
2. Exposure to AutoCAD or layout planning software.
3. A basic understanding of ERP systems.
