Interior Design Part Time Internship at HouseClay, Bangalore

We are looking for a passionate Interior Design Intern who loves minimalist, calm and functional spaces inspired by design.
You will work closely with our design team to create aesthetic, functional, and detail-oriented interiors for modern homes.
Responsibilities
Assist in designing Japandi-style interiors for residential spaces.
Create mood boards, material palettes, and furniture selections.
Develop 2D layouts and 3D visualizations for interior concepts.
Research Japandi furniture, lighting, textures, and d cor elements.
Prepare presentation decks for clients.
Support in space planning and styling ideas.
Skills Required
Strong understanding of minimalist interior design
Interest in Japandi / Scandinavian / Japanese aesthetics
Good sense of colors, textures, materials and lighting
Ability to create clean and calming interior concepts
Attention to detail and design storytelling
Tools Required
Candidates should have experience with some of the following:
SketchUp
AutoCAD
Lumion / V-Ray / Enscape
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Canva / Figma (for mood boards & presentations)
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of sustainable materials
Experience creating realistic 3D renders
Understanding of furniture styling and d cor selection
