About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, proposals, and commercial agreements including NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements, employment agreements and other business documents; ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with applicable laws and internal policies.
2. Conduct legal research and prepare case notes, judgement analyses, and internal advisory briefs by analyzing statutes, recent case laws, and regulatory updates to support decision-making and ongoing matters.
3. Support in the preparation of consultancy reports relating to regulatory frameworks including areas such as PMLA, SEBI regulations, corporate compliance, and other applicable laws; assist in structuring reports, compiling data, and summarizing key legal positions.
4. Assist in due diligence, documentation, and maintaining records for ongoing projects and transactions including reviewing documents, identifying risks, organizing data rooms, and ensuring proper documentation and version control.
5. Assist in managing the organization's online presence including updating website content, drafting newsletters, creating legal articles or thought leadership pieces, and supporting digital communication initiatives.
6. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information, follow up on documentation, and ensure smooth execution of legal and compliance-related tasks.
7. Support compliance and operational functions including maintaining trackers, assisting with statutory requirements, and monitoring deadlines and filings.
8. Assist in administrative and organizational tasks such as maintaining legal databases, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and supporting day-to-day office operations.
