About the internship
A legal intern is expected to conduct legal research, draft documents, observe court proceedings, and support seniors in client interactions and case preparation. Additionally, interns are entrusted with administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining case files, organizing documents, and understanding procedural aspects of the legal system.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting legal research on statutes, precedents, and case laws.
2. Drafting legal notices, affidavits, agreements, petitions, and case briefs.
3. Attending court hearings and preparing detailed notes for the senior advocates.
4. Assisting in the filing of petitions, applications, vakalatnamas, and affidavits.
5. Organizing and indexing case files systematically for easy reference.
6. Preparing and maintaining daily cause lists and updating seniors regarding case schedules.
7. Attending client meetings and drafting minutes or summaries of discussions.
8. Proofreading and reviewing legal documents for accuracy and consistency.
9. Assisting in the preparation of case bundles and handling photocopying and scanning work.
10. Observing courtroom procedures, styles of pleadings, and argument techniques.

The office timings: 10 am to 6pm
Working days: Monday to Saturday
