About the internship
Experience: 0- 1 year
Location: Mumbai
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Own Faclon's competitor intelligence hub, tracking both legacy industrial giants and fast-moving AI-first startups.
2. Dig deep into competitors to build clear, structured analysis that actually helps sales, product, and leadership make better decisions.
3. Go beyond surface-level takes and uncover real gaps, weaknesses, and 'what they don't want you to notice.'
4. Turn messy inputs- websites, decks, demos, call notes, and research- into clean insights, summaries, and battlecards.
5. Help leadership walk into competitive conversations confident, informed, and 10 better prepared.
6. Constantly sharpen how we talk about competitors so sales conversations and deal positioning get stronger over time.
7. Act like an owner- spot what's missing, fix it, and make our competitive knowledge better every week.

Other requirements
What we’re looking for:
1. You’re great at research and synthesis- you can take chaos and turn it into clarity.
2. You think in structures and frameworks (comparisons, tables, first-principles thinking).
3. You write clearly and simply, even when the topic is complex or technical.
4. You’re genuinely curious about industrial tech, AI, and how real factories operate.
5. You have a high-ownership mindset and don’t wait for perfectly written instructions.
6. You enjoy reverse-engineering competitor positioning from websites, decks, demos, and public info.
7. You’re comfortable reading product-heavy or technical content and explaining it in plain English.
8. Familiarity with Industrial IoT, SaaS, or AI platforms is a big plus (not a blocker).
9. You’re organized and comfortable working in structured docs/tools (Notion, Google Docs, Confluence, etc.).
