DESCRIPTION
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and Assist in basic design changes and revisions.
2. Assist in selecting materials, performing basic strength checks and basic FEA Simulations
3. Support sealing and O-ring groove design reviews; ensure finish requirements and Participate in assembly, fit checks, and support integration trials.
4. Support rapid prototyping and perform dimensional checks and tolerance adjustments.
5. Assist in field-testing, gather observations and document issues.
6. Work with Electrical and Software teams for integration and packaging checks.
7. Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and learn best practices from senior engineers.
8. Support reliability improvements by reporting failures, assisting in RCA, and updating design changes.
Requirements:
1. Prior hands-on experience in product development projects/prototypes of mechanical systems
2. Basic understanding of heating & cooling systems
3. Prior experience with simulation packages
4. BE/B. Tech - mechatronics/mechanical/ocean engineering/naval architecture/related field
5. Proficient in 3D modeling software and fundamentals of mechanical engineering design

About Planys Technologies Private Limited
