DESCRIPTION
About the internship
1. Assisting in the development of backend services, APIs, and business logic using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core
2. Building and supporting RESTful APIs, handling request/response flows, validations, and backend integrations
3. Using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Visual Studio, and VS Code to improve coding speed, testing, debugging, and documentation
4. Writing, refining, and troubleshooting SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database logic for SQL Server and PostgreSQL
5. Supporting the evaluation and integration of LLMs, AI tools, and agentic workflows into real-world software applications
6. Collaborating with the development team to translate product requirements into scalable backend solutions
7. Participating in code reviews, Git-based workflows, pull requests, and version control practices
8. Debugging backend, API, and data-related issues with a strong focus on performance, accuracy, and maintainability
9. Documenting APIs, technical decisions, AI integrations, and implementation workflows clearly for internal use
10. Contributing to the development of scalable, high-impact, user-facing applications that combine backend engineering with AI capabilities

Other requirements
1. Strong interest in .NET backend development along with practical use of AI tools in software engineering
2. Good understanding of OOP concepts, C# fundamentals, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and relational databases
3. Familiarity with prompt-driven development, AI coding assistants, and agentic coding workflows
4. Ability to use AI tools productively while applying independent judgment to verify code quality, logic, and security
5. Hands-on exposure to SQL Server or PostgreSQL
6. Comfortable working in a Git-based team environment
7. Strong analytical thinking, debugging ability, and attention to detail
8. Candidates who have built projects using AI, LLMs, ML/NLP, or end-to-end applications with coding assistants will be preferred
9. Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP will be an added advantage
10. Candidates looking for a serious long-term career in backend and AI-powered product development will be strongly preferred
