About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in end-to-end procurement activities, including raising Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
2. Coordinate with vendors to track order status, delivery timelines, and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Support vendor evaluation, onboarding, and documentation processes.
4. Maintain and update procurement trackers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
5. Collaborate with finance and warehouse teams to reconcile purchase data and GRNs.
6. Analyse purchase trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
7. Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and compliance standards.
8. Assist the procurement team with day-to-day administrative and operational support.
