Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 10th Apr'26 and 15th May'26
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Strong fundamentals in optics and photonics
2. Hands-on experience with Zemax OpticStudio
3. Understanding of geometrical optics and optical system design
4. Knowledge of laser optics and beam propagation
5. Familiarity with imaging systems and lens design principles
6. Understanding of optical aberrations and correction techniques
7. Ability to analyze optical systems using ray tracing and optical performance metrics
8. Experience with microscopy optics and imaging systems
9. Familiarity with illumination design (Köhler illumination, uniform illumination systems)
10. Knowledge of optical tolerancing and sensitivity analysis
11. Experience with optomechanical integration
12. Programming skills in Python or MATLAB for optical simulations or data analysis
13. Basic knowledge of detectors, cameras, and optical sensors
