About part time job/internship
The core responsibilities of this role are:
1) Game Facilitation & Curation: Expertly recommend and teach board games to diverse groups from beginners to enthusiasts. Ensuring everyone feels included and understands the mechanics quickly. Weekend Availability is a MUST-HAVE.
2) End-to-End Group Management: Act as the primary host for weekend events; managing player registrations, table assignments and game suggestions.
3) Content Creation (Canva): Design visually engaging digital posters and flyers using Canva to promote upcoming weekend themes, tournaments, or featured games.
4) Social Media Management: Own the Instagram page handling daily engagement, posting stories/reels during live events, and growing a local community of players.
5) Audience Acquisition: Proactively "get people in" by networking within local communities, responding to inquiries, and converting social media followers into event attendees, by following up on WhatsApp.
6) Conflict & Energy Resolution: Monitor table dynamics to ensure fair play, manage any interpersonal friction, and keep the "vibe" positive and inclusive at all times.
7) Logistics & Inventory Care: Ensure all game components are organized, accounted for, and maintained in pristine condition before and after every event.
