DESCRIPTION
About the internship
1. Designing mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk CAD/CAM tools and preparing them for manufacturing.
2. Understanding and differentiating between various CAD/CAM design formats to ensure seamless compatibility across software and manufacturing processes.
3. Supporting the selection, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electronic components.
4. Collaborating with vendors for procurement, logistics, and timely delivery of materials and parts.
5. Assisting in prototyping, testing, and quality assurance of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
6. Maintaining accurate documentation of designs, modifications, and installations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve design or manufacturing challenges.

Other requirements
1. This is an in-person, hands-on role at Meteoros Sensing Pvt. Ltd, Chennai, offering practical exposure to mechanical design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
2. The intern will get the opportunity to work directly on mechanical components and assemblies, assist in tool selection and installation, and contribute to vendor coordination, quality checks, and documentation.
3. Prior hands-on experience in Autodesk CAD/CAM, mechanical design, prototyping, or basic electronics integration will be an advantage.
