About the internship
Are you passionate about food quality, safety, and production excellence? Join Assocom Foods Private Limited as a Quality Assurance & Production Manager Intern and gain hands-on experience in one of the most critical functions of the food industry. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, understand real-time production challenges, and contribute meaningfully to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency in food manufacturing. As a quality assurance & production intern, you will be an integral part of our operations team. You will actively support quality systems, production monitoring, and process improvements while developing practical skills in food safety, data analysis, and team coordination.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in developing, documenting, and implementing quality assurance protocols aligned with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, and GMP
2. Support routine quality checks across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
3. Ensure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices on the production floor
4. Conduct regular inspections to identify deviations, inefficiencies, and potential risks
5. Participate in internal audits and document findings, corrective actions, and follow-ups
6. Maintain records to ensure traceability and audit readiness
7. Collaborate with production, R&D, and operations teams to improve workflows and reduce bottlenecks
8. Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce wastage, and improve process efficiency
9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures
10. Analyze production and quality data using MS Excel
11. Prepare reports on key performance indicators such as yield, rejection rates, and efficiency metrics
12. Present insights and recommendations to support decision-making
13. Assist in training staff on quality standards, hygiene practices, and process discipline
14. Create training materials, checklists, and visual aids for implementation
15. Support investigation of quality issues and production deviations
16. Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

Other requirements
1. Educational background in BTech or BSc in food technology
2. Interest in food safety, quality systems, and production management

6. Detail-oriented approach with a proactive mindset towards problem-solving
