About the internship
This internship is built for someone who wants to create, ship, and grow in a 0 to 100 startup environment, not just 'learn by watching.' You will own end-to-end short-form video deliverables that support drops and always-on storytelling, building real reps in concepting, shooting, editing, and delivering publish-ready work at speed.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Own short-form video deliverables end-to-end, taking a brief from idea to shoot to edit, and delivering publish-ready cuts that fit platform-native pacing and DROPZ's brand tone.
2. Produce fast-cycle content like BTS, packaging and dispatch moments, product storytelling, creator collaboration snippets, street and culture cuts, and drop teasers with quick turnaround.
3. Shoot EGC-style content that feels authentic and creator-first, capturing natural moments, clean framing, and usable audio so the edit stays fast and the output still feels premium.
4. Build simple shot lists and capture plans before filming, ensuring you consistently bring back enough coverage for strong edits rather than relying on "whatever happens" footage.
5. Edit short-form videos with tight pacing, captions, and clean sound, exporting in correct platform specs with clear file naming so the content pipeline stays organized.
6. Maintain an asset folder of b-roll and reusable clips, keeping footage labeled and searchable so you can repurpose moments quickly across multiple edits.
7. Collaborate with brand and operations to confirm product details and drop timing, making sure content is accurate, aligned to what is launching, and delivered on schedule.
8. Participate in weekly review and feedback cycles, sharing what shipped, what performed, and what you will improve in the next batch of videos based on real audience signals.
9. Uphold a quality checklist before delivery (audio, captions, spelling, framing, export settings), so speed never becomes an excuse for avoidable mistakes.
10. Take initiative to pitch quick concepts and recurring series, turning cultural observations and in-office moments into consistent content formats that can scale.

1. You are a hands-on creator with 0 to 6 months of experience, and you have samples that show you can shoot and edit short-form videos on your own.
2. You are excited by full ownership, and you want a role where you are accountable for deliverables, not a helper waiting for instructions or someone else’s plan.
3. You learn fast through shipping, and you can handle frequent iteration, feedback, and revision without slowing down or taking critique personally.
4. You understand the basics of short-form storytelling, including hook, pacing, and clarity, and you care about retention and watchability, not just “nice-looking” footage.
5. You are organized enough to manage your own footage, versions, and exports, keeping files clean so edits can be found, reused, and improved over time.
6. You bring cultural curiosity and taste, and you can spot moments worth capturing, turning small behind-the-scenes scenes into content people actually want to watch.
7. You thrive in a 0 to 100 startup environment, show daily intensity, and take accountability for outcomes, while being a team-first, low-friction collaborator.
8. You are reliable with deadlines and follow-through, communicating early when something is blocked and taking action to unblock yourself.
