Software Development Engineer

About part time job/internship
1. Build and maintain AI pipelines for short-form video auto-editing on Obula (caption generation, B-roll placement, trend analysis)
2. Integrate and optimize Whisper-based multilingual transcription supporting Indian languages (Hindi, Tamil, Hinglish)
3. Work on AI-powered creator-brand matching logic for Zypit using GPT APIs and content analysis
4. Run prompt experiments, fine-tune models, and improve output quality based on real user data
5. Collaborate closely with backend devs to deploy models on RunPod Serverless (GPU infra)
6. Manage and monitor deployments across Railway (backend), Vercel (frontend), and RunPod Serverless (GPU workers) for Obula and Zypit
7. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment
8. Optimize Docker images for ML workers and API relay services to reduce cold start times and infra costs
9. Set up logging, error monitoring, and alerting across all services
10. Help enforce security best practices RLS on Supabase, environment variable management, rate limiting
11. Conduct end-to-end manual testing of Obula's video editing flow and Zypit's creator-brand dashboard document bugs with clear reproduction steps
12. Research short-form content trends across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok to inform Obula's trend scraping and niche targeting logic
13. Analyze competitor products (editing tools, influencer platforms) and produce structured competitive research reports
14. Gather user feedback through interviews or surveys and synthesize insights for the product team
15. Help define and track product KPIs engagement rates, edit completion rates, creator-brand match acceptance rates

Other requirements
1. Candidates pursuing B.Tech/M.Tech in CS, ECE, or AI/ML preferred
2. Prior experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or video/audio processing is a strong plus
3. Comfortable working in a fast-paced early-stage startup environment with ownership of features
4. Hands-on experience with Docker, any cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Railway/Render), or GitHub Actions is a strong plus
5. Self-driven individuals comfortable debugging deployment issues independently
6. Candidates with a genuine interest in the creator economy, short-form content, or Indian social media landscape preferred
7. Prior experience with QA tools (Postman, BrowserStack) or product research a plus
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear, structured reports
