UI/UX Design Internship in Hyderabad at MITT ARV Technologies

Utpatti Fellowship:

The Utpatti Fellowship is a 12-month finishing program for students who aim to develop real industry skills through hands-on work, mentorship, and live projects. It is the only finishing program where you get paid instead of paying for the finishing school. Designed for 1st and 2nd year students, the program focuses on learning by doing. Participants work on real products with real teams and grow into industry-ready professionals while still in college.

The program:

The Utpatti Fellowship bridges the gap between academic learning and industry needs. Over a 12-month period, participants progress from learning fundamentals to executing real projects, and also learning how modern software tech products are designed, built, and delivered.

The journey:

Phase 1: Selection & onboarding - Assessment of intent, curiosity, and readiness to learn.
Phase 2: Foundation phase (4-8 weeks) - Hands-on learning of fundamentals, tools, and workflows. No classrooms. Only real tasks, feedback, and 1:1s.
Phase 3: Live project phase (10-11 months) - Work on real industry projects with mentors. Deliver production-ready work. Build a visible portfolio.
Phase 4: Completion - Certification, performance evaluation, and recommendations.

Mandatory in-office experience:

A mandatory in-office phase (minimum 3 months) during semester breaks and otherwise ensures deeper exposure to teamwork, execution, and professional culture. Program certification is issued only upon mandatory in-office experience completion.

Commitments:

1. 20 hours per week.
2. One week of paid exam leave per semester.
3. INR 60,000 for the whole program. A bonus of INR 6,000 will be paid on successful completion of the foundation phase.

Other information:

1. The candidates should preferably be based in Hyderabad or be willing to travel to Hyderabad during the mandatory in-office exposure.
2. A group of 3-5 Fellows will be created to execute projects as a team. You should be willing to work in a team rather than purely as an individual.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Live project contribution: Work on real industry projects under mentor guidance, contributing to design, development, testing, or documentation as assigned.
2. Learning & skill building: Actively complete foundation training, apply concepts to live work, and continuously improve technical and professional skills.
3. Collaboration & communication: Participate in stand-ups, reviews, and team discussions; collaborate with fellow students, mentors, and project leads.
4. Ownership & performance: Take responsibility for assigned tasks, meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and demonstrate consistent performance throughout the program.
