About the internship
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team in a Research & Analysis position. The intern will primarily focus on identifying, evaluating, and analyzing vendors for raw materials both in the domestic and international markets. This internship provides valuable exposure to procurement, sourcing strategies, and global supply chain management.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct market research to identify potential raw material vendors (domestic & imports).
2. Collect, organize, and analyze vendor data including pricing, lead times, certifications, and quality standards.
3. Benchmark domestic suppliers against international suppliers for competitiveness.
4. Support in preparing vendor comparison reports and presentations for management.
5. Assist in evaluating supplier risk, reliability, and compliance with company requirements.
6. Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain team for ongoing projects.
