Web Development Part Time Internship at The Affordable Organic Store

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee end-to-end Shopify store development and maintenance, including theme customization (Liquid), app integrations, hosting (Shopify infrastructure), security, and performance optimization
2. Develop and implement Shopify-specific technical strategies to improve storefront speed, scalability, reliability, and conversion rates
3. Use Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, Search Console, heatmaps, and error logs to monitor performance, identify issues, and drive continuous optimization
4. Define, track, and report Shopify KPIs such as page speed, uptime, conversion rate, bounce rate, cart abandonment, and checkout performance
5. Guide and mentor junior Shopify developers or freelancers, ensuring clean Liquid code, best practices, and accountability
6. Collaborate closely with marketing, design, operations, and finance teams to support campaigns, new Shopify features, and business growth initiatives
7. Ensure Shopify security, data privacy, and compliance, including SSL, payment gateway standards, and Shopify platform policies
8. Manage and optimize Shopify apps, third-party tools, APIs, and vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable integrations
9. Design and implement scalable Shopify workflows and SOPs for development, testing, theme updates, deployment, and rollback without disrupting live stores
10. Prepare and present Shopify performance reports and dashboards to management, highlighting store health, improvements, and future Shopify roadmap
