About the work from home job/internship
You'll test 10+ voice platforms, evaluate pronunciation accuracy, emotional delivery, and lip-sync quality for Telugu speakers.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Test AI voice platforms for Telugu:
1. ElevenLabs, Play.ht, Google TTS, Azure TTS, Coqui TTS, and other voice cloning tools
2. Generate Telugu voice samples from scripts
3. Evaluate: Does it sound natural? Is pronunciation correct? Does emotion feel authentic?
2.Quality control for Telugu content:
1. Catch mispronunciations, unnatural pauses, wrong emphasis
2. Identify when AI fails with Telugu-specific sounds (retroflex consonants, aspirated sounds)
3. Test with different Telugu dialects/accents if needed
4. Compare English vs. Telugu vs. mixed language
C.Lip-sync testing:
1. Check if avatar mouth movements match Telugu speech patterns
2. Telugu has different phonetics than English does the lip-sync look natural?
3. Identify timing issues, mismatched mouth shapes
D. Audio post-production:Edit audio:
1. Remove noise, adjust pacing, fix glitches
2. Add background music, sound effects where needed
3. Sync audio with video precisely
4. Export in correct formats for different platforms

Other requirements
A. Language skills (mandatory):
1. Native Telugu speaker — you can immediately hear what sounds wrong.
2. Excellent Telugu pronunciation and understanding of phonetics.
3. Can identify regional accents/variations in Telugu.
4. Good English proficiency (for platform interfaces and documentation).
B. Audio skills:
1. Audio editing experience (any tool: Audacity, Adobe Audition, or even basic phone audio editing).
2. Can hear quality issues: robotic pacing, unnatural pauses, wrong emotional tone.
3. Understanding of pacing, tone, and emotional delivery in speech.
4. Comfortable with iteration — willing to regenerate audio 20 times to get it right.
C. Nice to have:
1. Experience with voice acting, dubbing, or Telugu content creation.
2. Has worked with Telugu YouTube channels, podcasts, or audio content.
3. Understands subtitle timing and SRT files.
4. Knowledge of Telugu linguistics or phonetics.
D. What you don’t need:
1. Professional voice acting training.
2. Music production expertise.
3. Video editing skills.
4. AI/technical background.
5. What matters: Native Telugu speaker, good ear for audio quality, and attention to detail.
E. Mandatory:
1. Native Telugu speaker with excellent pronunciation.
2. Must provide an audio sample (any recording — voice note, audio project, anything showing audio work).
F. Bonus:
1. Experience with Telugu content creation (YouTube, podcasts, dubbing, voiceover).
2. Has edited audio for Telugu content before.
