Lingobuddy is a mobile-first language learning app that connects users with native speakers for real-time conversation practice. We're a lean, founder-led team obsessed with making language fluency feel effortless and fun.
We're looking for a Flutter developer intern - a self-starter who treats the product like it's their own and ships code that users love.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Own the APP end-to-end
2. Implement new features (voice UI, gamified streaks, in-app translation overlays, animations)
3. Fix bugs and improve performance (smooth 60fps animations, offline sync)
4. Collaborate directly with the founder on design code release cycles
This is not a "fetch API data" internship. You'll make architectural decisions, write clean code, and see your work in the hands of thousands of learners.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the work from home job/internship
2. can start the work from home job/internship between 5th Dec'25 and 9th Jan'26
3. are available for duration of 2 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.
1. Strong Flutter skills (Dart, state management, animations, custom widgets)
2. Ownership mindset – you finish what you start, no hand-holding needed
3. Willing to work – 5 days/week consistently (flexible schedule, but deadlines are real)
4. Comfortable with Git, Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Functions), and responsive UI
5. Bonus: Experience with Strapi, GraphQL, Figma, Flutter conversion, or CI/CD.
Hi, I'm Tanish, a software engineer at Salesforce with over 3 years of experience in building scalable and user-friendly applications. Alongside my full-time role, I'm actively working on multiple startup projects to solve real-world problems using tech. I'm currently building LingoBuddy, a language-learning mobile app (built using Flutter) that helps users learn Indian regional languages like Telugu, Hindi, etc., in a structured and gamified format inspired by Duolingo but focused on Indian users. I'm also working on another startup called 0/zero, which is a clothing startup. Previously, I worked on Tryfid also, which is currently on hold due to some constraints.
