About the work from home job/internship
ODMP is inviting applications for its 2-week fundraising & community outreach associate internship, dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities and waste picker families. Throughout this internship, interns will lead fundraising campaigns and manage digital outreach to mobilize essential resources for the organization's social causes.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Fundraising: Actively raise funds to support ODMP's community welfare and charity programs.
2. Virtual campaigning: Lead a virtual drive by advocating for initiatives across social platforms to reach a wider audience.
3. Awareness & advocacy: Engage with potential supporters to communicate the purpose and impact of welfare efforts.
4. Performance tracking: Maintain accurate daily and weekly records of outreach activities and funds raised.
5. Strategic coordination: Assist in planning and executing charity drive activities to strengthen organization programs.
The impact:
1. Direct aid for waste pickers: Every contribution raised goes toward providing essential health, nutrition, and education support for underprivileged families.
2. Social visibility: Serve as a voice for marginalized communities, ensuring their challenges and contributions are recognized and valued.
3. Cultivating social responsibility: Inspire collective action and a spirit of philanthropy to drive meaningful change for those in need.

About Odisha Development Management Programme (ODMP)
Odisha Development Management Programme (ODMP) is a registered network of grassroots NGOs, environmentalists, and academicians who got birth out of the emotion of civic movement during and after the post-super-cyclone in 1999 in Odisha. In the year 2001, ODMP took its steps onward from the Puri district. 51 NGOs from 11 blocks joined with ODMP as the partners of the UNICEF and RD department, Government of Odisha, supported the water and sanitation program of Puri District. ODMP successfully implemented the program from the financial year 2001-02 to 2003-04 as the district nodal agency and received state & national level appreciations.
In 2005, ODMP expanded its involvement in the development and environmental context in other districts of Odisha. Nirmal Srikhetra Aviyan is an environmental drive of Puri city regarding solid and hospital waste management supported by UNDP-SGP-GEF & GIZ, and RKS, the district headquarters hospital, Puri, implemented with ODMP's leadership.
