As a Unity Game Developer Intern, you will focus on designing and developing interactive, curriculum-aligned games for children. Your primary responsibility will be creating engaging educational games based on the Indian K-10 curriculum, ensuring they are fun, visual, and aligned with educational standards. You will work closely with educators, designers, and AI experts to build modular, scalable learning experiences that enhance understanding and retention across diverse student groups.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain interactive educational modules, story-based games, and simulation experiences using Unity and C#.
2. Build reusable game logic and modular interaction systems to support different grade levels and content types.
3. Integrate animations, audio, voice-over, and branching logic by collaborating with animators, designers, and AI engineers.
4. Optimize game performance for mobile devices with limited bandwidth and memory.
5. Work with UI/UX and animation pipelines to create fluid transitions and hybrid interfaces.
6. Use AI-powered tools (e.g., procedural generation, dynamic difficulty balancing, personalization) to enhance game mechanics.
7. Participate in level design, interaction design, and game mechanic prototyping for new learning modes.
8. Maintain codebase quality, documentation, and production-ready Unity packages.
9. Collaborate with backend developers and AI engineers to integrate learner-specific data such as progress, choices, and feedback.

Other requirements
1. Professional experience or strong knowledge of Unity and game development principles
2. A portfolio demonstrating relevant projects, ideally including educational or narrative games

4. Curiosity and openness to using AI tools for game mechanics or procedural content generation
5. Familiarity with the Indian K–10 curriculum (CBSE/ICSE) is a plus but not mandatory
